I believe this building was the Stockton Secondary School (a grammar school)which my mother, cousin and I all attended. It was two schools, one for boys and one for girls. I think that it was founded in the early 1920s and my mother would have gone there about 1923/4. In 1951, the year after I started, we all moved to the new buildings and became known as Grangefield Grammar School. The basement of the school was the shared gym. I think the other shared room was the Hall. The top rooms were the science laboratories and there were various outbuildings which housed different classes.
