Yale Elementary School 1954 Alumni send greetings to you the viewer. We have made this site for the world to see. We welcome you and hope the things that we have here will be a blessing to you. Please feel free to e-mail any of us. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Our grade school is located on the south side of Chicago at 7025 S. Princeton. Our neighborhood was a rapidly changing area with the state purchase of properties for the Dan Ryan Expressway. Almost immediately after graduation, several families moved away. Most of us got separated with the moves and high schools. In 2001, one of our classmates thought it would be time to try and find the lost ones. With the wonderful web site ofclassmates.com, he started searching for some of the class. He sent out several e-mails with no response. In April 2002, someone else signed up on the grade school graduation page. An e-mail was sent to that party and that was the start of an almost impossible journey. In January, another person listed their name and then there was three. That sparked new hope of finding more. In April, another party was found. She took the list and located all but 5 of the 29 students. We have shared some great stories and experiences with each other and we would like to share some of them with you also. Several on this list had graduated in June of 1954 and we thought that we should include anyone that we could find.
